One important source of assistance is your state Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Congress significantly increased funding for LIHEAP last winter, as well as increased the incomes at which families were eligible to receive LIHEAP assistance. Please contact your state LIHEAP office for further details and information about eligibility.
