Citizens Energy has worked closely with hundreds of Native American nations and tribes to provide free home heating oil and generate renewable energy projects that help foster job creation and additional revenues.

During the 2007-2008 winter season, Citizens Energy, in partnership with CITGO Petroleum, helped provide energy assistance to more than 55,000 households in 223 Native American tribal communities in 13 states.  The value of this assistance exceeded $20 million.

Through the generosity of CITGO, Citizens Energy will be providing resources this winter for Native American tribal communities in Alaska, Arizona, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington.
